Sobrón is an area of great ecological and landscape interest, with a spectacular narrow pass crossing the River Ebro at the entrance to the picturesque valley of Tobalina, next to the Arcena Mountain Range. It is home to the nests of golden eagles and many
griffon vultures. The flora is rich in beech trees, Canary oaks, Holm oaks, strawberry trees, Scots pines, etc.

It also has the Sobrón Adventure Centre which offers a wide range of activities, such as canoeing, kayaks, hiking routes, river diving, paintball, orienteering, climbing, abseiling, archery, mountain bike routes, etc. Several sprints with medicinal properties are the basis of the ambitious project for the construction of a large spa. The chapel of San Martín de Lantarón, from the early Álava Romanesque, completes the interest of this tour.
