Vitoria-Gasteiz also boasts a number of large shopping centres and department stores (Lakua, El Corte Inglés, Dendaraba), which were opened recently. This is the case of El Boulevard, the second-largest shopping centre in the Basque Country with 80,000 square metres, and the Gorbeia Shopping Centre, located 5 km from Vitoria Gasteiz.
