Coinciding with the Festival of San Blas, the patron saint who protects against throat ailments, several towns and villages hold a fair, which is clearly rural in nature. In Llodio, a pig is raffled, the cords of San Blas are blessed and everyone makes home-made black pudding. In Alegría-Dulantzi, there is a crafts and agricultural products fair.
