If you go out anywhere in the province, you should take part in the traditional "Txikiteo". This custom is widespread among groups of friends and consists of going from bar to bar at midday or in the evening, to drink small amounts of wine, beer or cider, called "txikitos" or "potes", normally on foot and accompanied by lively conversation. Depending on the time of day or night, it is a good idea to sample a “tapa” or two as well.
